Rain City Projects supports playwrights and their work in the Pacific Northwest.

We develop projects to raise the profile of the playwright within the working theater community, and build relationships between theater artists and producers.

  • Distillery New Works Local Playwrights Coffee Hour

    June 15 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM

    Calling all playwrights! Join us in the lobby for coffee, donuts, and conversation at this casual community event to connect with your fellow local playwrights, co-hosted by Rain City Projects (an organization supporting PNW playwrights) and the Seattle Public Theater Resident Playwrights.

    And for those who want to stick around to hear some new plays, we offer all attendees a complimentary ticket to check out our final two Distillery readings: The Last Rites of Uncle Manny by Seattle playwright Coco Justino at 11am, and God's Favorite by Catherine Crimmins at 3pm.
